Dangerous goods waste: Slovakia signs multilateral agreement M329
After Austria, Italy, the Czech Republic, Hungary and San Marino, Slovakia has now become the sixth country to sign the multilateral agreement M329.
The M329 permits the carriage of certain wastes containing dangerous goods under simplified conditions. However, it cannot be used for waste transport of classes 1, 6.2 and 7, class 2 (division 2.3 or 6.1 "toxic"), of classes 4.1 and 5.2 if temperature monitoring is required (classification codes SR2, PM2 or P2) and of genetically modified microorganisms and organisms of UN number 3245.
The agreement replaces and extends the M287, which was phased out in early August 2020.
It will expire on September 21, 2025.
