Labeling, placarding, marking, and painting by sea IMDG 40-20.
As we highlighted before, the code IMDG 40-20 should have been in use already for six months. Due to the pandemic situation COVID-19 and following stops and delays, the enforcement has been voluntary since January 1st, 2021, and compulsory since June 1st, 2022.
Hence, starting from Tomorrow, the application of code IMDG 40-20 won’t be an option anymore: all people involved in the chain shall comply with the new norms.
